Maria is preceded in death by her grandfather, Roger James Jostock; and one uncle, Terry Gallegos. On Sunday, November 6, 2022, Maria was in a life-threatening car accident. Maria was unconscious on the scene due to injuries sustained from the accident. Maria was airlifted to Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, MN, where she remained in a coma for seventeen days.

He attended Ludwig rural school and graduated from Alcester High School. Earl grew up in the Big Springs Baptist Church, near Alcester. He was employed full-time by the Air Guard for 37 years as an Aircraft Maintenance Crew Chief until his retirement in 1991. He was Crew Chief on several types of Aircraft and went on deployments to many locations in the USA and worldwide. He was very fortunate to have worked with the Secret Service and the aircrews of Air Force One and Air Force Two on all Presidential and Vice-Presidential visits to Sioux Falls for 35 years. A memorial service for Ms. Mary E. Ramos was held at 6 PM Monday, November 21, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Jack Kern officiating.
— Don't know much about the chapel but we pulled into the parking lot with our RV to stretch and a person was kind and offered us a bathroom to use.
